11.115 Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier with Unicorns
A great design probably by Mid-West Chandelier. Notice the wonderful unicorn and horses surrounding the shield on the shades. This lovely light forms a ring once fully assembled with shades in place. We’ve restored the original finish of polished aluminum and gold paint. This fixture has a 3 way switch inside the bottom finial, so you can choose between one shade, four shades, or all 5 shades. Very typical for lighting in the 1930s. Five shades have white paint over clear glass. Shades are in fair condition--significantly more chipped than most of our fixtures. See photos of the most noticeable area. For the most part, it looks great and the blemishes in the glass don’t detract from the whole. 16” diameter, 19” drop and can be shortened about 8”.
