1140 Verdigris Finish Circular Arts and Crafts Light
Here’s the stunning bare bulb fixture you’ve been looking for! The main body of this fabulous fixture is solid cast iron, with a copper plate and light green verdigris finish. The whole thing has a hammered texture, and the finish on the main body is totally original. The upper portion has been finished to match. At some point this fixture had a disastrous break, which we had to repair. Instead of a full-on refinishing the entire fixture, we decided to leave the darkened finish around the repair, which allowed the bulk of the beautiful original finish to remain untouched. Takes 5 bulbs, 100w max. New porcelain sockets. Looks amazing with any of our Ferrowatt bulbs, and also with our favorite gold Mazda type bulbs. Historically, this type of fixture would take a spherical or A style bulb, never a flame shape. (Flames going down?? We think not....) 38” to bottom of center drop, not including center drop. 17” wide. Can be shortened up to 15” by shortening straight chain. Heavy fixture!! Solid cast iron! Make sure your junction box can handle 30 pounds!
