820 Exquisite Arts and Crafts Caramel Slag Glass and Copper Fixture
Originally both gas and electric, this beautiful fixture has copper plate on a hand riveted base, fitted with caramel slag glass, and glass candle tubes over the gas hardware, now fitted with candelabra base sockets. Inside, a four bulb cluster with pull chains provides plenty of light over a dining room table if desired. Not for the faint hearted, this fixture has some weight to it! At about 20 pounds, it should be attached to a secure junction box. At 23” square and 48” tall, it definitely makes a statement. We were finally able to replace the fringe with custom made real glass fringe--see the lower photos. This fixture can made up to 10” shorter before the purely decorative chains prevent it. Candles and interior cluster are wired separately, and can be wired to different switches or together with the lower cluster. Takes 4 60w bulbs inside, though we recommend only 7w decorative bulbs in the glass candle tubes for a realistic look.
