949 Jovial Monk's Head 4 Lantern Fixture
Beautiful top quality fixture with four Jovial Monks sticking their tongues out. The sculpture work on the faces is phenomenal---furrowed brow, laugh lines around the eyes and generous jowls all visible. Typically two monks were available--the jovial and the scowling or grimacing monk. We’ve got the fixture with the grimacing monk too! This fixture is in brass with a gorgeous warm brown patina, relieved to show the hammered texture of the metal work, rivets, and of course the monk’s faces. All original slag glass in the lanterns. Chain is solid brass replacement. Fixture is 20” by 20” and hangs 49”, but we can alter chain to your desired length. Can take 4, 100w bulbs.
