Reproduction Edison Mazda Bulbs
Reproduction Edison Mazda Bulbs
Perhaps you’ve got an old fixture in your home which just doesn’t look right with those clear or bare white bulbs. To give it just the right authentic look, try these authentic reproductions of painted bulbs from the 1920’s and 1930’s! While it may seen normal to put a flame bulb in candle covered sockets, it was actually quite common to put smaller spherical bulbs in them too--this is widespread in the old manufacturer’s catalogs. Many of them also mention Mazda bulbs by name. Each bulb is coated by hand to match the colored bulbs used in vintage bare bulb fixtures. Two colors are available: gold, which is sort of a champagne color, and orange, which gives off a warm glow like firelight.
January 2012: Currently the ORANGE bulbs are in somewhat limited supply and only stock on hand is available. Eventually we hope to take over making these bulbs ourselves, but at the moment are not in production. We have added a lovely LIGHT AMBER FLAME in 25 or 40w and a frosted exterior. Same bulb as shown, but with a light amber and frosted exterior.
